Southern Charm star, Madison LeCroy is sharing a shocking cancer update regarding her husband, Brett Randle. The two have been married for a little over two years now and it has been anything but easy. Now, things have gotten real and by that, really tough. Madison LeCroy Shares Shocking Cancer Update
When Season 10 of Southern Charm began, no one expected Madison LeCroy to drop the bomb that she did. She and her husband, Brett Randle seemed very happy and were working around his crazy busy schedule. His job required him to be away which was hard for the newlyweds. Yet, they made it work and were even planning a family. Though Madison’s first delivery with her son, Hudson literally broke and traumatized her, she was ready and willing to do it all over again.
Unfortunately, Brett was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and that rocked their world. They had just settled into this beautiful new life and now they had to navigate the unknown. It looked like everything was caught but he was still struggling after the fact. Brett could not swallow and suffered in pain when he did. Madison had hope that they would fix him but she kept his struggles under wraps from Hudson. Now, in the latest episode of Southern Charm, which aired on Thursday, January 2nd, things are not looking up.
According to Bravo, Madison LeCroy was doing a check-in with Brett Randle. She wanted to see how he was feeling and if his swallowing had improved:
“How are you feeling? You haven’t really told me anything.”
He said that he was doing better but then she asked about the pain when swallowing. That had been one of the biggest concerns all along:
“It doesn’t necessarily hurt, I just have to think about it to swallow. They had to adjust the medication. I’ll try that for a couple of months and then get tested and see if that’s where it should be. And they did a scan of a spot on my kidney … “
This completely blindsided Madison as she had no clue anything was going on with his kidney. She was at the point where she wanted to know why he would hide this from her and if there was more she did not know.
Secrets Revealed
Upon Madison LeCroy learning about Brett Randle’s kidney, he further elaborated on what had happened to him:
“They had to biopsy that and see what it is.”
At that moment, Madison thought the worst and wanted to know if they believed it was cancer but he was still in the dark. This was growing increasingly hard on Madison, who shared her struggles in her confessional:
“Like, if I hear the word ‘cancer’ one more time I’m going to lose my mind. I just kind of thought we were in the clear.”
The couple had put their baby dreams on hold after learning about thyroid cancer and now it is just one thing after another. More so, she is keeping it very vague when it comes to her friends and co-stars as she attempts to navigate her new normal. In Brett’s defense, he claimed he did not want to worry his wife until there was a reason to.
