Margaret Josephs Addresses Possibility of Not Returning to RHONJ Next Season, Says She “Can’t Imagine” Going Back with Last Year’s Cast, Plus If She’s Spoken to Jackie Since Reunion

Margaret Josephs said it’s “fine” if she doesn’t return to the Real Housewives of New Jersey next season, and she “can’t imagine” going back with last season’s cast. She also revealed which costars she’s still close to, and if she’s spoken to Jackie Goldschneider since the reunion.

Last season, Margaret saw the demise of her relationship with Jackie, who developed a friendship with Teresa Giudice – Margaret’s enemy. Eventually, Jackie and Margaret accused each other of colluding with the ex-girlfriend of Teresa’s husband Luis Ruelas.

RHONJ is now on hiatus, and a report has claimed that only Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania and Teresa are set to return to the network.

In an interview for Us Weekly, Margaret was asked if she misses the show.

“I talk to the girls that I love,” she said. “I get to talk to my friends. I feel sad we’re not filming, but it’s a welcome break.”

“I’m not gonna lie: It’s relaxing, it’s fun,” she continued. “But of course I’d love to go back.” Margaret clarified that she “can’t imagine” going back with “the whole same crew” of last season.

Margaret’s ideal cast would only include “my friends” and “some new people” thrown in. “I think some friendships have gone past where they belong,” she said.

“And you know what? If it’s not me [next season], then that’s fine too,” she added. “I have a beautiful life. If that’s what the Bravo gods want, you know, that’s fine for me. I’ve had a great ride.”

Margaret shared that she hasn’t spoken to Jackie since the last season’s reunion: “That ship has sailed. That was a very sad thing, the way it went down. And when I found out certain things … I just can’t come back from it.

According to Margaret, she’s still “very close” with Danielle Cabral, Melissa Gorga, Jen Fessler, Rachel Fuda and Dolores.

The star expressed that she’s “so proud” of Dolores on The Traitors, as she “did Jersey proud.” Margaret also hinted that she herself would like to be on it one day.

“I do think I could do it,” she said. “Dolores said to me, ‘Marge, it’s rough. It’s tough’ … but I think I could do it. I definitely could take it.”
