Mark Ballas Left DWTS Behind but He’s Still Impressing With His Dance Moves

There is no denying that Mark Ballas is an exceptional performer. Despite bidding farewell to “Dancing With the Stars” in 2023 after the completion of Season 31, fans still get to see his dance moves! This includes when the professional dancer shares videos on social media, and his post on Instagram from May 22 is a perfect mixture of hilarity and skill

Ballas shared a video of himself not being able to sleep because he needed to dance, and it’s everything you would expect from one of his videos.

Mark Ballas Impressed Fans With His Dance Moves

In the clip, Ballas opens his eyes and sees his blue button-down shirt, which inspires him to perform. Ballas gets out of bed and starts to do a whisk in front of his stove. “Anyone else got this song stuck in their head? ” he asks fans in the caption of his post.

Fans have reacted to the DWTS alum’s post with praise. “I miss you on DWTS you were the most alive, vibrant, and creative piece of that show, you’re dancing is incredible,” a fan wrote. “I’m seeing all this AMAZING WHISKING on my feed!!” another person shared. People have also commented on how the song motivates them to dance and makes them happy.

You might recognise that blue shirt Ballas is wearing, and it’s not the first time he has worn it for a little routine. A few days earlier, on May 19, he posted a video on Instagram of himself and his dad dancing. It’s clear that the ability to do the whisk runs in his family, and his dad’s dance moves are incredibly impressive.

Ballas captioned his post with “WHISK 2.” Again, the comment section was flooded with fan reactions. “I had to watch this over and over to see who I thought did it better. Your dad taught you well!” a fan shared. “This is so epic,” another comment reads.

Why Did Mark Ballas Leave DWTS?

Although videos of Ballas on social media are always welcome, fans miss seeing him on the DWTS stage. He announced his departure after winning the Mirrorball Trophy at the end of Season 31. “I started this journey when I was 21, 22. Honestly, being able to dance and perform for you fans, you guys are the best fans. Thank you,” Ballas told an audience at the Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas in March 2023, People reports.

“So, I just wanna finish by saying this will be the last time you see me dance in this capacity. I’m coming to a close tonight. This is gonna be my last dance,” he added. Thankfully, it’s not the last time we get to see him whisk.
