Tyson was defeated pretty convincingly by the Problem Child, who is 31 years his junior. In the build-up to the fight, many videos were shared by Tyson, who publicised how seriously he was taking the fight, and this was demonstrated by his training. The veteran looked sharp in said clips, yet failed to roll back the years on the night. Although he failed to knock out his veteran opponent, the 27-year-old cruised to victory via unanimous decision on the judges' scorecards.

Paul and Tyson were scheduled to fight in July, but this was delayed due to the latter's health scare during a flight. The boxing legend spoke to New York Magazine at the time about his scare while flying, stating: “I was in the bathroom throwing up blood. I asked the doctor, 'Am I going to die? ' He said, 'We have options.' Options? I couldn't believe it. I had, like, eight blood transfusions. The doctor said I lost half my blood. I almost died.”

Tyson also revealed he “lost 25 pounds in 11 days” and that he “couldn’t eat. Only liquids.”

Thankfully, the boxing legend recovered and managed to compete. Hopefully, the icon can now relax and spend more quality family time away from the ring.
