The Minnesota Vikings are going to be one of the more popular teams on national television in the 2025 season. They will be on primetime four times this year with three other stand alone games, playing in Europe in weeks four and five, along with Christmas Day when they host the Detroit Lions.
Those won't be the only games that the Vikings will be featured on, as they will be featured one more time in week three of the preseason against the Tennessee Titans. It will air on CBS at 7 p.m. CT.
Even though both players are entering their first season as the starting quarterback, we won't get to see J.J. McCarthy take on Cam Ward. The final week of the preseason is mainly for the back half of the 90-man roster. It's their final opportunity to make a case to be included on the final 53-man roster.
Players like Max Brosmer and Tre Stewart will get their chance on offense, while Tyler Batty and Zemaiah Vaughn will be looking to make that impression on defense.
It won't be the most exciting game, but anytime the Vikings are on national television, it's a good thing, especially for fans not located in Minnesota.
