The Wild acquired Luke Toporowski in a trade from the Boston Bruins in exchange for Pat Maroon. He played in 96 career games for the Providence Bruins in the AHL and recorded 22 goals and 46 points across two seasons.

Toporowski, 23, played in 11 games for the Iowa Wild during the 2023-24 season where he recorded five goals and six assists for 11 points.

Born in Bettendorf, Iowa, Toporowski became the first Iowa-born player to score a goal for the Iowa Wild.

Boston signed Toporowski after playing in five seasons in the WHL and one in the USHL. He had 96 goals, 103 assists, 199 points in 245 career WHL games with the Spokane Chiefs and the Kamloops Blazers.

The 5-foot-11 forward has 27 goals, 30 assists, and 57 points in 113 career AHL games with the Providence Bruins and the Iowa Wild. If he continues to produce again this season, Toporowski could receive more minutes and a potential call-up.

He is someone to keep an eye on heading into the 2024-25 season.
