The Cleveland Browns are still looking for their Deshaun Watson replacement for 2025 - and beyond.

As they meet with players like Russell Wilson and Kenny Pickett, other names continue to fall off the board.

With the No. 2 overall pick in next month's NFL Draft, Cleveland could select a young quarterback to be the future of the franchise. Even so, the Browns could want a veteran player in front of or behind that rookie.

One name that has been linked to Cleveland could be falling off the board.

The Atlanta Falcons seem to want to keep Kirk Cousins around even after the debut of their own future star in Michael Penix Jr.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Atlanta is prepared to pay out the $10 million roster bonus to Cousins on Saturday. In Atlanta, he'll be the league's most expensive backup quarterback.

That means his name will come off the list of possible Browns quarterbacks for next season barring an unforeseen and unfortunate trade with Cleveland.
