New York Rangers Involved in Trade Talks for Two Superstar Wingers
The New York Rangers are ready to make moves this summer, and according to a top insider, they're involved in trade talks with two huge names as they have seemingly called on both Jason Robertson and Martin Necas.
The NHL off-season is getting hot already just days after the Stanley Cup Finals wrapped up, and after moving Chris Kreider to the Anaheim Ducks, it appears as though the New York Rangers may be one of the most active teams in the entire NHL.
According to reports, the Rangers will be involved in everything this summer, and while that doesn't mean they'll land every available player, it appears as though it means they will certainly try.
Now, Rangers reporter Vince Mercogliano has revealed a blockbuster report, noting that the Rangers are interested in both Jason Robertson and Martin Necas, with the team seemingly calling both Dallas and Colorado on the availability of their star wingers in recent times.
It's unclear how willing either team is to listen on offers at this point in time, but after moving Kreider, the Rangers have the space to make a blockbuster move, and with the No. 12 overall pick in this years draft and other assets, there's some pieces they can put together to make a deal.
It's no secret that 2024/25 was one of the most disappointing campaigns in New York Rangers history, and with the team shaking up their core group since that point, they're going to be incredibly aggressive in the summer as they look to change things up even more, so whether it's Robertson, Necas, an offer sheet target or a big draft day deal, don't be surprised to see a Rangers blockbuster at some point.
