Nick Sirianni offers his theory on concerns about Kellen Moore's focus

No one is confused about what's at stake here. The Philadelphia Eagles have appeared in four Super Bowls. The third time was the charm. The most recent trip was perhaps the most disappointing.

We watched one of the best Birds teams ever assembled go up in flames, and it still hurts. Talk about letting one get away.

We thought they'd get back to the big game last season and finish the story like Cody Rhodes. We know how that ended, and to a man (and woman), we all remember the Jonathan Gannon angle.

J.G. was outclassed and outcoached in Super Bowl LVII. Then, he took the Arizona Cardinals head coaching job immediately afterward. That led to questions about his level of focus.

So, you can understand why Birds fans would be concerned once news broke that their offensive coordinator scheduled three interviews for three head-coaching vacancies ahead of Philly's Divisional Round game vs. the L.A. Rams. It certainly didn't help that there are rumors that he already began making calls to guys he'd like to hire as assistant coaches.

Nick Sirianni assures everyone that Kellen Moore's level of focus is the least of everyone's worries (or, at least he tried to).

Each week of every season, Nick Sirianni meets with Philly media members four times. He does so after every game and three times during the week, If the game is on Sunday, we expect to hear from him on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

So, after news broke that Kellen was a hot commodity again and he had three interviews scheduled during a two-day span, no one should be shocked that the head coach was asked about where his offensive coordinator's head is.

If, for any reason, they struggle or this Eagles team loses to an inferior Rams squad and Kellen Moore's unit is to blame, there may be an uprising in the Eagles fan base.
