Former Bachelor Nick Viall found love off-screen with wife Natalie Joy and the two welcomed their daughter River Rose Viall last year.
Nick has been keeping fans updated with his life online and revealed in 2023 that he surprised his mom by repurchasing their family’s lake property, which they had lost in 1990.
He said, “After losing the house 32 years ago, I finally brought it back in the family. I had recurring dreams my entire life since we lost the house in 1990 about somehow having the house back in our family. I always woke up. I’m living a literal dream. No more waking up from this one.”
Now, Nick has taken to Instagram again to give an update on the property and shared that he’s building a brand-new home.
The Bachelor Nation star posted a video with snapshots of the property and how it has changed over the years, starting from when his family first bought the house to present day.
The first photo shows a single-story home with loved ones standing on the porch, surrounded by trees. And the second photo shows a slightly larger, two-story home with a boat dock and those same trees now fully grown.
The rest of the video shows the current home Nick is building, still currently under construction, and the incredible views from the windows.
Nick shared more about the property’s history, writing, “It was a dream come true to buy back my family’s lake property after my family had to sell it in 1990. First built in 1965, remodeled by the previous owner, we are currently under construction on its 3rd version.”
Nick then shared his vision for the home and revealed that the design is inspired by the original house his grandpa owned.
He said, “I wanted to build something for the next generation of family to enjoy that was inspired by the original house, just a lot bigger:). I think my grandpa would be proud. Excited to show you all when it’s done.”
Fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments with their love and support over Nick’s new home.
Tyler Cameron wrote, “He’d be real proud! What an achievement! Can't wait to visit yall,” and Hannah Ann Sluss added, “So cool!!! You will make so many more family memories here!”
Ben Higgins also chimed in, saying, “Super proud, congrats on the opportunity!”
