Months after her split with John Cena in 2018, WWE alum Nikki Garcia rebounded right into another relationship. Specifically, she began dating Artem Chigvintsev, who was her pro partner in Dancing with the Stars Season 25. They welcomed a son, Matteo, in 2020 and got married in 2022. It was reported in August 2024 that Artem got arrested following a domestic violence incident. He was charged with corporal injury to his spouse, aka Nicki, but the charges were ultimately dropped. It wasn’t long after this arrest, though, that she filed for divorce. Their divorce has now been finalized and the settlement news was a total shock. Because she is the breadwinner, Nikki is responsible for not only paying her ex-husband $200,000, but will payout $3,000 each month in child support. This news made headway everywhere, and now she is speaking out.

“They go, ‘Hard lesson to learn today because of the money you’re gonna have to pay out, but be damn proud of yourself,’ and it was nice to hear that and I was, even though it hurts because I broke my neck for that money,’” she shared in the May 22 episode.

Despite the crazy end to their relationship, Nikki made it clear that right now, it’s all about their child.

“Artem and I right now are in a great place. We are co-parenting so amazing, and it makes Matteo’s life so amazing and I don’t want it any other way.
