Olivia Flowers is in the thick of wedding planning and has some thoughts about it. The Southern Charm alum got engaged to her fiancé, Alex Williams, in September 2024, and has started the planning process. But, it hasn't necessarily been the easiest thing for the fashionista.
Olivia appeared on Page Six's Virtual Reali-Tea on Wednesday, Feb. 26, where she shared some new updates on her wedding planning. It was on the podcast where she admitted that she has been "excited" by everything going on in her life, but is aware that it can be "overwhelming" at times. But, she does have a wedding planner to help with everything.
"It's nonstop," she shared. "And someone told me when you pick your wedding planner, you're picking the person you're married to for X amount. I was like, 'OK, no pressure.' I never knew how much you're talking to them constantly."

Although she's been working with a wedding planner, she admitted that the most challenging part of the process has been picking the city to have her wedding in. "It was really just deciding the city that was the hardest thing for me, because I have so many — we moved quite a bit when I was growing up," Olivia said. "So I had different hometowns and always thought I would just know like, 'Oh, this is going to be the city.'"
"But that was the hardest part," she continued. "I mean, one day I was calling Napa, and the other day I was calling Greenville, South Carolina. My mom was like, 'Hone it in here. Let's hone in that ADHD."

Olivia does, indeed, have an inspiration board for her wedding. But, as she told the podcast, "My Pinterest board is much more glamorous than the reality," she admitted.
So, she has been finding inspiration with the help of her friends. "I'm the last of all my friends to get married," she explained. "So I really have, just like, anytime I go to weddings, I pick and choose, or I call on them and be like, 'What did you do in this situation?' They're like, 'I just said yes. I just said, forget it, say yes.' So they've been helpful, like give me the feedback. But that's the perk of going last."

Alex is in his 30's, lives in Dallas, works in finance, and met Olivia at a wedding. The couple celebrated their one year anniversary in May 2024, and have been inseparable from the time that they met. And now they're about to celebrate their biggest chapter together, yet, when they marry.
