Bachelor In Paradise Couple Faces Medical Emergency
A handful of cast members for Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise have made genuine connections. Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley have essentially been a couple since the beginning. Kat Izzo and Dale Moss have had an up-and-down romance, with her trying, and him still wanting to explore. Then, a Golden duo unexpectedly found love and seems incredibly happy. Captain Kim Buike and Faith Martin have formed a beautiful connection that would give anyone hope that their person is out there. They both failed on their seasons of The Golden Bachelor and Bachelorette, but the tide has turned.
The duo has found comfort within each other and their backstories, which made the romance seamless. Unfortunately, things are all about to change during the Monday, August 11th episode of BIP. Captain Kim has already been checked by the island’s medical professionals after his heart rate skyrocketed. He proceeded to have an EKG, and now, he is sharing with Faith an update. Kim explained that he has been sleeping okay, but something was not right. Therefore, further measures will have to be taken to ensure he is fine:
“They did an EKG. It looked a lot better. The plan is they wanna put a heart monitor on me, something around my midsection, and then a little recording device I wear.”
Of course, Faith became incredibly emotional after learning what was going on with Kim. She seems very happy with him on Bachelor in Paradise, so she likely wants to see where it could go. The idea that he could be seriously sick is a terrifying prospect. He tried to console Faith and let her know that this was a good thing.
The Long Haul
Captain Kim Buike is trying to be very optimistic for Faith Martin during their Bachelor in Paradise journey. He has even stated that they are not there for the money, and this is not performative. Rather, he has found his prize within his new lady, and that is all that matters. Since the season began and Kim joined the show, fans have seen a new side of him. They find him sweet and loving, which is a new spin on how he has been portrayed in the past:
- Kim has more depth than I had realized. I hope he makes some kind of meaningful, lasting connection with someone.

- I hope they make it beyond paradise!
