Anthony Belton remained the lone Packers draft pick without a contract heading into rookie camp.
The 2025 draft class has been like no other. The Green Bay Packers found a way to solve the puzzle, as every rookie has now been signed to a deal. This marks a major milestone as many teams have yet to sign their second-round pick.
Six of Green Bay’s eight contracts finalized as early as May 2. First round pick, Matthew Golden took a bit more time, but not as long as Anthony Belton. The two were able to head to rookie camp yesterday (July 18), which was headlined by a Jordan Love appearance.
Anthony Belton’s Contract Came Right on Time
The Houston Texans decided to shake things up this year as they gave out a fully-guaranteed deal to their second round pick. That has never been done before, and it held up a majority of the team’s draftees. Looking for the best contract possible, the Texans benefited themselves, but set everyone else up for failure.
Selected No. 54, Belton adds protection to the Packers already strong offensive line. With a few moving pieces, Belton will immediately slot into the offense as the team looks to keep Love healthy. The NC State graduate came to terms on a four-year, $8.016 million deal. In total, 72.95% is guaranteed.

Upon signing the 6’6” 335 pound protector, the Packers cut both Nesta Jade Silvera and Cameron Young. Those cuts came on the same day that rookie camp was beginning, with the focus being on the 2025 draftees.
Neither Silvera nor Young was going to see any playing time, so these aren’t cuts that Packers fans were upset about. Instead, they looked to the future as Belton and the team worked things out. Their situation wasn’t anything like the Bengals, who have yet to sign their first or second-round pick.
Packers 2025 Rookie Contracts
It’s no surprise that the No. 23 overall pick received the highest contract. Golden is set to make $17.57 million, which came with a nearly $10M signing bonus. His cap hit in 2025 is miniscule, clocking in at just over $3 million.
The Packers have seen great success with their rookie receiving core. While they struggle with drops, they remain as one of the most underrated groups in the league. They’re also adding Savion Williams, who was drafted No. 87. The TCU WR signed a $6.29M deal.
Green Bay only had one pick in each round, up until the seventh. Their fourth-round selection was Barryn Sorrell. No. 124 was the team’s first defensive choice, one of four straight. The Texas EDGE rusher will make $5.14M.
Everyone else is set to make no less than $4M, but nothing that tops $5M. Collin Oliver signed a $4.6M deal as he was selected No. 159. The linebacker was joined by Warren Brinson, Georgia’s defensive tackle. The No. 198 pick is set to make $4.42M.
$4.31M is the total for Micah Robinson. As the lone cornerback drafted, the Tulane graduate was one of the team’s two seventh round selections. Finally, John Williams was taken at No. 250. It marked the Packers last offensive selection, as the offensive lineman will make $4.3M.
Fans were thrilled to hear that Love would be going to camp four days early to practice with the rookies. His chemistry with Golden should be electric, as the defense is upgraded as well.
