Paige DeSorbo Called Out by Fans Over 'Mean Girl' Comment

It looks like there’s no bad blood between Southern Charm stars Paige DeSorbo and Naomie Olindo, even after their shared history with Craig Conover. The two women, who had their own separate relationships with the reality TV star, have shown signs of mutual respect and support in recent months, particularly on social media.

Paige DeSorbo’s Heartfelt Comment on Naomie Olindo’s Instagram Post

On August 11, Olindo posted a beautiful series of photos from a recent trip to Jamaica with her boyfriend, Billy Haire. Posing in a stunning long wrap skirt at the Round Hill Hotel and Villas Resort, Olindo captioned the post, "A little bit of bliss!" The photos received plenty of love, but what really caught fans' attention was DeSorbo’s comment: "Gorgeous."

Fans were quick to notice the positive interaction between the two women. “Just an icon commenting on another icon’s photo ☺️✨,” one fan wrote, while another added, “We love an uplifting queen ❤️.” Others echoed the sentiment with, “Women supporting women,” and “Obsessed with this friendship,” proving that there is genuine camaraderie between the two former Southern Charm co-stars.

The History Between Paige DeSorbo and Naomie Olindo

While DeSorbo and Olindo’s relationship has been mostly positive recently, their connection has had some complicated moments, especially considering their history with Conover. Olindo and Conover were in a relationship from 2015 to 2017, while Conover and DeSorbo were involved in a three-year relationship that ended in late 2024.

Despite their past, Olindo has spoken positively of DeSorbo. In a 2022 podcast appearance, Olindo admitted that fans were hoping for her and Conover to reconcile, but she was clear that she respected DeSorbo. “He’s dating someone who I really like. Paige is great,” Olindo said.

On Southern Charm Season 8, DeSorbo and Olindo had a one-on-one conversation, where DeSorbo made it clear that while they may never be best friends, they could be cordial. "You are my boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. We were never going to be best friends,” DeSorbo said during the conversation. “But I wanted to be able to be with you in settings like this and be like, ‘Where did you get those pants?’” The moment showed they were both willing to coexist, even with their pasts.

Paige DeSorbo and the Southern Charm Cast After Her Breakup with Craig Conover

While DeSorbo and Olindo have managed to maintain a positive connection, things have been a bit more complicated for DeSorbo following her breakup with Conover. In an interview with People in 2023, DeSorbo shared that she had been on good terms with the female Southern Charm cast members, including Olivia Flowers, Madison LeCroy, and Venita Aspen, but things changed after the breakup.

During a Watch What Happens Live appearance, DeSorbo spoke about how she lost touch with LeCroy following the split. “I loved Madison,” she said. “When the breakup happened, she texted me, but it wasn’t really a check-in, and shortly thereafter, it was very obvious she was Team My Ex. So, I just left it at that.”

DeSorbo also admitted that she was once friends with Conover’s good friend, Austen Kroll, but after Kroll commented on rumors about her breakup, DeSorbo made it clear that they hadn’t spoken in months. “Ahhh yes, a man I haven’t spoken to in 6 months knows exactly what I’m doing,” she wrote in a comment on the WWHL Instagram page, further distancing herself from the former Southern Charm castmate.

Moving On and New Beginnings

Despite the changes in her relationships with some of her former castmates, DeSorbo seems to be focusing on her future. Her positive comment on Olindo’s post shows that she values the importance of women supporting each other, even amid complicated dynamics. As fans continue to watch her journey on Southern Charm, it’s clear that DeSorbo is carving out her own path, maintaining friendships where she can and focusing on her personal growth
