Paige DeSorbo Defends New PJ Line and Reveals What’s In the Next Daphne Drop

Paige DeSorbo stuns at the Summer House reunion

Paige DeSorbo is standing by her brand. The “Summer House” alum recently launched her first sleepwear line, Daphne, and after a few online critics came for the designs and prices, she’s setting the record straight — and revealing what’s coming next.

Paige DeSorbo Responds to Criticism Over Price and Sizing

DeSorbo recently clapped back after TikTok influencer Carter Martin criticized her new pajama line, Daphne, for allegedly overcharging for basic styles and using Alibaba products. “It’s giving nothing,” Carter said, calling the initial drop “a little disappointing” and suggesting it followed the typical influencer brand “formula.”

But former Bravo star wasn’t having it.

In a direct reply on TikTok, she wrote: “I’m so sorry you’re underwhelmed! They are not $200, they are also not from Alibaba! Daphne is original designs, and 100% cotton. Sorry that you didn’t want to order!”

While some fans agreed with the criticism in the comments — one user said it was “giving TJMaxx” — DeSorbo kept things positive. She also addressed another concern: size inclusivity. When a follower called her out for only offering up to XL, she confirmed that more sizes are coming soon.

“We will have more sizes in the next drop! This was only our first drop! We are a small team and we will be adding XXS and XXL,” she shared.

The Former ‘Summer House’ Star Reveals the Inspiration Behind Daphne

DeSorbo announced Daphne’s launch on June 3, naming the brand after her beloved cat. She described the line as the culmination of a long-held dream — and a strategic move to create something meaningful beyond reality TV. In an interview with InStyle, she opened up about the pressure she felt to make the most of her Bravo platform.

“I would get really down on myself,” she admitted. “’What if the show’s not on next year? What if I’m not asked back and I haven’t put anything out?'”

Over the years, DeSorbo said she turned down multiple brand deals and business opportunities because they didn’t align with her aesthetic or values. “It was really more like, ‘What would my followers like?'” she explained. “And I feel like we all align on staying in bed.”

With that inspiration, she teamed up with branding expert Kyle DeFord — whose past clients include Jenna Lyons and Oxford Pennant — to bring Daphne to life. But DeSorbo emphasized that this isn’t just a vanity label. “It’s my idea. I want to be fully involved in every single thing,” she said. “I haven’t missed a meeting. I’m in all the text threads. I’m the final decision-maker.”

The debut Daphne collection, which dropped on June 10, features cardigans, T-shirts, and PJ sets in soft, muted tones. Some items are named after friends — including her “Giggly Squad” co-host Hannah Berner — and the silhouettes are designed to be worn from bed to brunch.

“This is one thing where I can say it’s a full-circle moment,” DeSorbo said. “I’m so happy that I didn’t do it sooner because I don’t think it would’ve been as authentic as it is right now.”
