Paige DeSorbo was finally in the hot seat on “Watch What Happens Live.”
Five months after her breakup from Craig Conover, the ”Summer House” star made her first appearance on the Bravo late-night show and set the record straight on how the split went down and the back and forth between their two “camps.”
After host Andy Cohen praised the exes for continuing to say “very nice things” about each other amid the discourse of their breakup, a stunned DeSorbo had a two-word response. “Have we?” she asked.
She then added, “That’s all growth, that’s maturity. I wish him well, but in a Gwyneth Paltrow way.”
Paige DeSorbo Admitted the Breakup Wasn’t Mutual

While DeSorbo and Conover split up in late November, the “Summer House” star publicly made the breakup announcement on the December 30 episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast.
“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” DeSorbo told fans at the time. “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want.”
Weeks later, Conover appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” and denied that the split was a mutual decision. “Paige lied on her podcast and said the breakup was mutual,” he told Cohen. “I didn’t tell her what to say, I got a text, and she said, ‘I’m announcing it on my podcast’ and then she said it was mutual, which it wasn’t.”
During her April 2025 appearance on WWHL, DeSorbo admitted the breakup was not a mutual decision. “Obviously, yeah, it wasn’t,” she said. “I broke up with him. But I felt like he was saying that because he wanted that like victim, like he wanted people to be like ‘She did it, she caused this.’ And so, I was like ‘Okay.’”
DeSorbo also described Conover’s version of events as a “story.” When Cohen asked if there was anything her ex said in the aftermath of their split that she wanted to counter or clear up, she cracked, “I mean all of it. I loved listening to it because I was like ‘What a fun story.’”
She didn’t disagree with her co-star Kyle Cooke’s comment that Conover was a “liar.” “I think Kyle nailed it,” she said.
DeSorbo addressed the fact that Conover didn’t jump in to defend her amid rumors that she cheated on him. “I feel like exes don’t owe each other anything, but we’re in a different situation,” she said on WWHL. “And I didn’t need him to defend me, but I needed him to not lean into it.”
Paige DeSorbo Said She Never Considered Marrying Craig Conover at BravoCon

During the “Southern Charm” Season 10 reunion, Conover revealed that he bought DeSorbo an engagement ring not long before their split. He also stated that after she broke up with him, he asked her, “Well, what do you want me to do with the ring?’ “
“And she’s like, ‘Well, keep it. Maybe we’ll get married at BravoCon,’” he claimed of the upcoming Bravo fanfest that will be held in Las Vegas.
On WWHL, Cohen asked DeSorbo, “Did you consider marrying at BravoCon?”
DeSorbo replied, “Andy, do I look like the kind of person that has the phrase ‘convention center’ in her wedding invitation?”
“I don’t ever want people to think that I was, like, leading Craig on,” DeSorbo also clarified. “I loved him, I wanted to marry him. That was very real.”
DeSorbo also cleared up a few other things. When asked about rumors that she was “dating a fellow” earlier this year, DeSorbo replied that she was “absolutely dating people, nothing serious, but having a very good time.”
She also reacted to rumors that Conover has moved on and is now dating someone new. “I love it, I’m so happy for him,” DeSorbo said of her ex’s rumored romance with Natalie Buffett.
