Paige Desorbo looked back on her annual family trip to Italy during a recent episode of her podcast.
After chronicling her European getaway on social media, along with boyfriend Craig Conover, 35, who was in tow, the 31-year-old Summer House cast member admitted that the Southern Charm star had annoyed her with his uncultured approach to Italian eating.
“[I was] so f*cking annoyed,” Paige shared during a recent episode of her podcast, Giggly Squad, via The Daily Dish.
According to Paige, she didn’t like how Craig would ask their waiters about their favorite meals.
“You don’t need to give them all those words,” Paige explained. “I’m like, they don’t give a sh*t what you’re ordering, they’re not eating it.”
She was also irritated by his request for hot sauce to season his dishes, which was equally bothersome to her father.
“My dad’s not over it,” Paige said. “He actually brought it up not too long ago.”
On one particular night out at a restaurant, a waiter brought chili oil to the table, which prompted Craig to pour it all over his pasta.
“My whole family, I could see them in their seats, just being like, ‘Oh my god.’ He’s a liability in Italy,” Paige noted.
This isn’t the first time she’s called out Craig’s manners. Earlier this summer, she told Travel + Leisure that during last year’s visit to Italy, Craig expressed confusion over the shapes of his pasta.
“He had the audacity to say, ‘What is a rigatoni? I can’t remember that shape.’ I thought my [dad had] died right then and there,” she recalled. “It was like having an alien with us, but we keep him around for comedic relief.”
Although Paige and Craig are in a committed relationship, they are not in a rush to get engaged. As Paige explained last month during an appearance on the Lady Gang podcast, they “rarely” talk about taking the next step.
“Me and Craig rarely, like, talk about when are we getting engaged, when are we having a baby. Like, of course, we’ve had those conversations, but it’s not as much as everyone else is having them. So, like, we don’t really get that stressed out about it,” she revealed.
Summer House season nine is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo later this year or early next year.
