Paige DeSorbo recently moved out of her sleek apartment (which you can revisit in the video tour above) and into a new abode in New York City. In addition to sharing a few images on social media of the stunning space, the Summer House cast member recently spoke about her new real estate and shared why her boyfriend, Southern Charm-er Craig Conover, wasn't exactly happy with the relocation.
“It's so funny, when I was moving out of my old apartment, Craig was so sad because when we first started dating, I had just moved into that apartment and so we just had a lot of memories there,” she shared with PEOPLE in an interview published on September 25. “I was like, ‘But when we get into the new apartment in the first 24 hours, you're going to forget about the old apartment.’ And he absolutely did.”
Though Craig had some reservations at the beginning, it seems he's opened up to the new apartment, which has more space for him to have a closet — ideal for his visits from Charleston, South Carolina.
Paige also shared more details about her new place including the thought process behind choosing the apartment.
“I used to look into the building and just be like, ‘Oh, my God, I love this so much. I would die to live there,’” she said, sharing how she jumped on the chance to snag one of the building's apartments when it became available.
Paige also noted how she didn't want to "disrespect" the apartment's vintage charm. “I wanted the things that were built in,” she stated, adding how she oriented her furniture and other details around the two elegant fireplaces.
Although Craig was initially hesitant about Paige moving, Paige explained on Summer House Season 8, Episode 5 that she wanted to make sure he had a say in her new apartment.
"I want to involve Craig in this because I do value his opinion, and, like, I do kind of like him," she quipped. "So I do want him to be excited [about] where we are living when he is here. Even though it's my apartment, and what I say goes, and he'll get what he gets in terms of a closet."
While speaking with The Daily Dish in a recent interview, Paige shared more details about her design inspiration for her new place. She also shared why she went in the "opposite" direction of her previous residence.

My vibe is very French girl. I have bangs now, so I’m like, 'Let me just be a French girl in her apartment.' That’s my new decor. Love a velvet couch, I’m thinking."
