Paige DeSorbo's departure from Summer House marks the "end of an era" for her.
The fashionista took to her podcast, Giggly Squad, on June 10, where she shed some new light on her exit from the cast of Summer House after the Season 9 reunion aired. Paige had been a cast member on Summer House from Season 3 through Season 9.
"I feel like when you make a drastic switch in your life, and before you do it, you're like, 'But how am I going to feel when I do it? What if I regret it?' I was dealing with that," she admitted, noting that her departure feels like "the end of an era."
"I feel good. It's kind of also like graduating college. You're like, 'Oh, this is sad.' But, like, 'No, I want to go to that next step,'" she continued. "I just feel like I gave all I could give."
"I'm so excited," she added. "I'm gonna sleep so much."
Paige also appeared on TODAY with Jenna & Friends on June 10, where she revealed how she was feeling over her departure from Summer House. "I'm sad, but I'm also happy," she admitted in a clip posted to the show's Instagram account. "They'll be fine without me."
"You know, I need to sleep and not get yelled at for sleeping," she said. "I like to stay in the bed."
Paige DeSorbo reflects on her Summer House experience
The Giggly Squad co-host took to her Instagram Story on June 5, where she announced her departure from Summer House after seven seasons on the show. "I have a little life update for you: I've made the decision not to return to Summer House," she wrote.
"Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendship, the drama, the giggles. All unforgettable," she added. "But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it's time for this chapter to close...You've seen me grow over these last seven summers. I'll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me."
What's next for Paige DeSorbo?
Following her Summer House departure, Paige is focusing on her new sleepwear line, Daphne, which launched on June 10. The line launched with 12 different pieces made to wear inside and outside of the house, and has since fully sold out. "Daphne is officially out, launched," Paige said on the podcast. "Thank you so much for ordering. She's alive."
"And if we do run out of certain things, we'll be restocking later in the summer," she added. "I have one dress that we're definitely putting out this summer because I need it to be out. So if you weren't able to purchase anything, don't worry."
She's also focued on her podcast, Giggly Squad, which she co-hosts with Summer House alum, Hannah Berner. During the June 10 episode of Giggly Squad, she noted that listeners will get "way more of her" on the podcast.
