Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany are sending a strong and clear message in their latest family photos.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany recently did what a lot of families do in the summer: They went on vacation. The main difference, of course, is that Patrick and Brittany are very well known, so when they share their photos, it becomes big news and people want to see what they’ve been doing.
On Wednesday, July 16, Brittany took to Instagram to share vacation photos of their family from a recent trip. She shared a whole range of photos, including family shots of the entire family, as well as images of their little ones. “Time well spent,” she simply said in the caption.
The vacation took place during the Chiefs’ downtime, but pretty soon, the NFL season will pick back up, and Mahomes will have to be totally focused on football. It’s sweet to see them spend this quality time together before the Chiefs’ season starts up. What was extra interesting was a message the two sent in this carousel of photos.
A Strong Message From Patrick Mahomes and Brittany
The fifth photo in the carousel shared on Instagram shows their youngest, Golden Raye Mahomes, wearing a bib that says, “The future is female.” It is displayed loud and clear on Golden’s pink bib.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Patrick and Brittany believe in the power of women. Brittany is very involved in women’s sports, and she’s co-owner of the Kansas City Current, which is part of the National Women’s Soccer League. She’s also a former former professional soccer player herself, so she and Patrick truly believe in the women being stars in the sports world.
The photos of the vacation were greeted with plenty of loving comments and heart emojis from Brittany’s followers. “Goldie has the most gorgeous eyes,” one commented. Patrick also commented with a bunch of heart emojis.
Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes is Still No. 1
ESPN has released its much-anticipated roster of the best quarterbacks in the league, and in it, Mahomes is named the No. 1 best quarterback in the NFL, again. For the feature, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN asked coaches, executives and scouts to name their top quarterbacks in the league going into the 2025-26 season.
While it’s great to see Mahomes at No. 1, Fowler did have a bit of a warning for him, though. “Mahomes’ grip on the top spot is loosening slightly,” he stated in the feature. “After dominating the voting with back-to-back No. 1 rankings in convincing fashion, Mahomes garnered around 60% of the first-place votes this year, which is still impressive but well short of last year, when he received all but one first-place vote.”
But, Fowler admits that “Mahomes still leads the NFL in virtually every passing category — from passing yards to touchdowns and yards per attempt — since becoming the starter in 2018.”
Coming in at No. 2 was Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, followed by Joe Burrow at No. 3. It’s fantastic to see Mahomes continue to get picked as the best quarterback in the league, and hopefully it will be some wind on his back going into the new Kansas City Chiefs season.
