Patrick Mahomes Had No Words for Chiefs' New Post on Tuesday

   

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are looking for vengeance, attempting to bounce back from a Super Bowl loss. 

Last season, the Chiefs finished the year with a 17-3 record. They defeated the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills in the postseason after entering the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

After winning the AFC Championship, the fifth conference title of Mahomes' career, the Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. 

Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs roster had ample time to rest and spend time away from the field after the loss. 

On Tuesday, they arrived back at the facility, beginning the journey toward a Super Bowl next season. 

The Chiefs posted a video of Mahomes walking into OTAs (organized team activities, with the caption "Year 9." Mahomes then reposted the video on social media with the alarm clock emoji, which he typically uses in reference to Chiefs posts online. 

Patrick Mahomes is preparing for his ninth year in the NFL, much like the Kansas City Chiefs mentioned on social media. 

He already produced an incredible career, having one of the best resume's from a quarterback in NFL history. 

As Mahomes chases Tom Brady, who many believe is the greatest player of all time, he's already attained three Super Bowl titles, two MVP awards, two All-Pro honors and six Pro Bowl appearances. 

During the regular season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes posted 26 passing touchdowns and 3,928 yards, completing 67.5% of his pass attempts. Mahomes also added two touchdowns and 307 yards on the ground.
