Patrick Mahomes' Kids Received An Awesome Present For Christmas

Patrick Mahomes' children didn't get to spend Christmas with their dad, but they seem to have made out just fine.

Mahomes was in Pittsburgh on Wednesday to help deliver the Kansas City Chiefs their 14th win of the season and wrap up the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Meanwhile, back home, his children Sterling and Bronze received some incredible gifts from Patrick and wife Brittany.

Brittany Mahomes shared pictures on her Instagram story of her kids enjoying the miniature cars they received for Christmas. Sterling, 3, got a pink Range Rover, while two-year-old Bronze received a matte black Mercedes, making him the "happiest boy ever."

We've got to say, the pint-size vehicles are pretty damn realistic.

Following yesterday's 29-10 win over the Steelers, Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce were gifted football-shaped cakes from Netflix to celebrate the win. Mahomes turned his down.

“I’m watching my weight for playoffs,” the quarterback said, before joking that head coach Andy Reid was ready for the cake.

Overall, no cake can compare to the gift the Mahomes family is about to receive. Brittany is on the verge of giving berth to the couple's third child, with Patrick joking during an interview with Netflix that he hopes it happens during the playoff bye week.

"I told my pregnant wife I was gonna get her the number one seed so we can go have that baby," Mahomes said after the win. "So we got that number one seed."

By virtue of getting the No. 1 seed, the Chiefs will have a bye to the divisional round and have guaranteed themselves homefield advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.

It's the fourth time Kansas City has earned the AFC's top seed in the last seven seasons.

"It's just going to be nice getting guys healthy,'' Mahomes said. "I think this was the earliest [regular-season] bye I've ever had just in general. To kind of have this grind of whatever it is -- I think we had our bye Week 6 -- so it's like almost 10 weeks of just football and grinding and then this short schedule at the very end of the year.

"We have some guys banged up, and to get them back healthy now and we'll see how Week 18 goes and who plays and who doesn't play. That's up to Coach [Andy Reid]. But even getting this little break, getting back healthy and then getting ourselves ready to go for the playoffs, it was super important.''
