Patrick Mahomes Reacts to Chiefs' New Post on Thursday

The Kansas City Chiefs are back in action, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes is heading into his ninth year in the NFL, looking to get the Chiefs to their fourth straight Super Bowl appearance, having won two of the last three titles.

Last season, the Chiefs were looking to earn a three-peat championship, but fell short losing the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. Before their Super Bowl loss, they defeated the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills in the postseason.

As Mahomes and his teammates return to the field, participating in OTAs, the Chiefs posted a video of their quarterback, highlighting his throw to Tyquan Thornton.

"OT (yay football is back)," posted the official social media account of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mahomes reposted the video on social media, sharing his highlight play with over 6.7 million followers.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are looking for vengeance next season.

They were hoping to add to what was becoming a dynasty with a third straight ring, but the Eagles put a clear halt to that pursuit.

Nevertheless, the Chiefs will be back next season with a similar team that's fresh off an AFC championship. They have brought back key contributors such as tight end Travis Kelce who may have been considering retirement and offensive lineman Trey Smith who was one of the most high touted players in free agency.

Last season, Patrick Mahomes posted 26 touchdowns and 3,928 yards, completing 67.5% of his pass attempts, while leading the Kansas City Chiefs to the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
