Patrick Mahomes' True Feelings on Caitlin Clark Attending Chiefs Game

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are back in the AFC Championship Game after defeating the Houston Texans 23-14 on Saturday afternoon. And they got to do it in front of a special guest.

Caitlin Clark, the young point guard from the Indiana Fever, sat alongside Taylor Swift as they watched from the Travis Kelce suite. The Iowa Hawkeyes legend had previously appeared on Kelce's podcast, "New Heights," and attended two of Swift's concerts from the "Eras Tour," where she received a nice offer from the singer.

Patrick Mahomes' True Feelings on Caitlin Clark Attending Chiefs Game

"Swift gave Clark four bags of Eras Tour merchandise with a note saying Clark was inspiring to watch from afar," wrote Sean Gregory in the 2024 Time Athlete of the Year. “She said 'Trav and I' were excited to get to a Fever game now that the tour was winding down and invited Clark to attend a Chiefs game with her."

On Tuesday, Mahomes joined "The Drive with Carrington Harrison" on 96.5 The Fan and discussed the upcoming game against the Bills. Then, Mahomes was asked how it felt to have Clark at Arrowhead before sharing his thoughts.

"It was awesome," Mahomes said. "Glad she's a Chiefs fan. So we are able to have some of the best as part of Chiefs kingdom."

He also had high praise for the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year.

"I watched Caitlin play at Iowa," Mahomes added. "Got to meet her. She also works for State Farm, so I got to meet her there as well. A tremendous athlete and a tremendous role model for my daughter to watch and show how women's sports has really taken off. She's kinda been a the forefront of that. As far as women's basketball and everything like that."

Clark got to watch her favorite team secure their seventh-straight AFC championship spot while doing it with one of her favorite singers.
