Dorit Kemsley and Paul "PK" Kemsley are so proud of their 8-year-old daughter, Phoenix Kemsley. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills kid has been showing off her talent for dance lately and her hard work appears to have finally paid off.
PK took to Instagram late last week, where he revealed that Phoenix is about to star in a local musical production of The Wizard of Oz, which will hit the stage in late December. The music manager and entrepreneur set the now-disappeared Instagram Story to Judy Garland's rendition of "Over The Rainbow."
"So my little Phoenix got the lead," PK wrote over a photo, advertising the production. "Anyone surprised?"
It's not surprising at all that PK and Dorit's youngest child will be rocking a pair of ruby red slippers on stage while showing off her musicality and knack for dancing. Although she has so much time to decide what she wants to do in her life, it seems like she has been having so much fun being on stage.
PK Kemsley's Video of Phoenix Kemsley's Ballet Routine
This upcoming musical production won't be Phoenix's only time on stage. PK took to his Instagram feed over the weekend, where he posted a video of Phoenix dancing on stage at what appeared to be a street fair while performing a solo ballet routine.
In the video, Phoenix can be seen wearing a dance costume, holding a tambourine in her hand, and showing off her high kicks and twirls as she effortlessly glides across the stage. It's obvious that she has so much dedication to the craft, and that shows in the video.
"Hitting the streets of Sherman Oaks [with] my little swan...," PK, who is currently estranged from Dorit, wrote in the caption of the post, set to a song from the ballet, Swan Lake.
Inside Phoenix Kemsley's Ballet Journey
As if PK's big news wasn't enough evidence, Phoenix is one dedicated ballerina. Dorit's little girl first started taking classes in late 2022 and has since continued with the craft.
Dorit took to Instagram in December 2022, where she posted a series of photos and videos of Phoenix taken during and after her first recital. "I couldn't be more proud of how determined and passionate Phoenix has been since starting ballet just over 5 weeks ago!" Dorit wrote in the caption of the post.
"She was the last student to join the academy and since then I've watched her dedication and excitement transform into pure joy and focus on being the best she could be," she continued. "I for sure felt like I was more nervous than she was, as I sat in the audience, watching my precious little girl perform for hundreds of people."
It's been almost two years since then and Phoenix has since graduated to different crowds (like birthday party attendees) and clearly, more opportunities. There are only good things to come.
