The Philadelphia Eagles won in Week 1

The Eagles took care of business against the Green Bay Packers in Brazil. The field used for the Packers/Eagles Week 1 contest was heavily scrutinized after several players were seen slipping on the surface.

The Eagles leading receiver in Week 1, A.J Brown, suffered a hamstring injury, per Philadelphia’s Week 2 injury report. He was limited on Friday but did not practice on Saturday.

A.J. Brown out in Week 2

Per the Eagles website, Brown has been ruled out for Monday night’s game.

Brown caught five passes for 119 yards, and one touchdown in Week 1.

Brown was the Eagles leading receiver in the 2023 season. He caught 106 passes for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns last season.

With Brown out, expect the Eagles to lean more on DeVonta Smith. Hurts could target new wide receiver Jahan Dotson, a 2022 first-round pick by the Washington Commanders who was traded to the Eagles in August.
