Philadelphia Eagles Star Is Already Over Winning The Super Bowl

The Philadelphia Eagles completed the goal that all 32 teams set out to accomplish at the beginning of the season on Sunday, as they won Super Bowl 59.

The Eagles defeated the Chiefs in a 40-22 rout on Sunday, taking home their second championship in franchise history.

Philadelphia Eagles Star Is Already Over Winning The Super Bowl

There's no denying that Philadelphia was the team that wanted the win more on Sunday, but one star player for the Eagles says he's already over it less than a week later.

“After a few days, I’ve had time to reflect on being a champion. I tried to feel how everyone made it seem to be a champion and unfortunately it was short lived.. two days to be exact lol,” said Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown.

"I’ve never been a champion at the highest level before but I thought my hard work would be justified by winning it all. It wasn’t.”

Brown continued by explaining that he simply enjoys the high of competition and being better than his opponents.

“My thrill for this game comes when i dominate,” the wide receiver explained in his Instagram post.

“It’s the Hunt that does it for me. It’s when the Db drops his head and surrender because he can’t F with me . The Intense battles. Early mornings. Late nights. Sacrifices. I love putting smiles on peoples faces, don’t get me wrong but it just wasn’t what I thought it would be. It’s the journey that I love the most. BACK 2 Work!”

Brown had three catches for 43 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Super Bowl, capping off another excellent season for the 27-year-old receiver.

Brown had the third consecutive 1,000-yard season of his career this year, and was named an All-Pro for the third season in a row. He's been one of Jalen Hurts' favorite targets since arriving in Philadelphia, and their connection on the field has resulted in a Super Bowl championship.

They'll look to repeat as Super Bowl champions next season, a victory that would put the Eagles closer to the Kansas City Chiefs dynasty they just defeated to capture football's ultimate prize.

If one championship wasn't enough for Brown, we'll see how he feels after potentially winning two in a row.
