PK Kemsley Asks for Joint Custody of Kids in Response to Estranged Wife Dorit Kemsley's Divorce Filing

In response to Dorit Kemsley's divorce filing, PK Kemsley has filed for joint custody of the estranged couple's two kids.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, PK has filed a response to Dorit's initial divorce filing and is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their two kids — Jagger Issy, 11, and Phoenix Nava, 9.

He also waived his right to spousal support and has asked the court to terminate Dorit's own request.

PK's request is at odds with Dorit's initial filing, where she requested sole legal and physical custody of the former couple's two kids and asked for spousal support.

Dorit's divorce filing came one day after PK was photographed kissing and holding hands with former The Amazing Race contestant, Shana Wall, while taking a stroll after dinner in Los Angeles on April 24.

Dorit and PK tied the knot in 2015 after welcoming their first child, son Jagger, the previous year. In 2016, Dorit gave birth to their daughter, Phoenix. PK is also a father to three children from his first marriage: daughters Atlanta and Tatum, and son Daniel.

In May 2024, Dorit and PK announced their decision to separate in a joint statement posted to their respective Instagram accounts.

"We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together," they wrote at the time. "We have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.”

In season 14 of RHOBH, cameras captured the two navigating the breakdown of their marriage. From Dorit calling PK a "full blown alcoholic" to opening up about their allegedly "toxic" fights, things between the former couple have grown more and more contentious.

During a November episode of RHOBH, PK shared with costar Mauricio Umansky that he and Dorit had yet to tell their kids that they were separated.

“No. We’re not going to be talking to the kids. So I’m not saying we know what we’re doing, because the truth is…" PK said, trailing off as Umansky speaks over him.

“How old are your kids?” he asked.

“They’re 8 and 10. It’s a very personal thing and no one knows our kids better than us. No one," PK affirmed.
