Paul “PK” Kemsley is one fun dad.
A week after celebrating his 57th birthday, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband blessed fans with another look at his co-parenting life. PK, who separated from Dorit Kemsley nearly four months ago, shared the look in a creative and well-choreographed at-home video featuring him and his two kids.
PK creates adorable music video with his kids, Jagger and Phoenix
The September 1 Reel began with PK lip-syncing Starship’s 1987 hit “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” As he kicked off the song’s second verse, PK approached his 10-year-old son, Jagger, who was dressed in PJs getting ready for bed. Although the boy was clearly amused by his dad, he declined to participate in the duet. So, what did PK do? He turned to Jagger’s little sister, Phoenix.
The video then cut to the 8-year-old girl sitting on the couch, feigning annoyance. PK, however, refused to give up and continued his performance until Phoenix eventually gave in. The Beverly Hills daughter then took over the pre-chorus before she jumped onto her feet and danced with her dad.
“Nothing’s gonna stop us having fun,” PK captioned the video, which ended in simultaneous high kicks.
PK calls Phoenix his "dancing partner for life"
Phoenix’s love of performing has been well-documented on Instagram. Dorit and PK have shared numerous videos of their girl showing off her impressive dance moves — many of which were done alongside her dad. Back in February, PK celebrated Phoenix’s birthday by sharing a montage of them singing and dancing together over the years.
“Happy Birthday to my dancing partner for life,” he captioned the birthday tribute. “My baby girl is 8 today … I love you Phoenix … can’t wait to see what amazing things your gonna do as you grow up and be right by your side as a witness , don’t ever stop dancing with your daddy.”
Dorit and PK split after celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary
About two months after celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary, PK and Dorit announced their decision to separate. The couple dropped the news in a since-deleted Instagram statement, saying they’ve tried to work through their “struggles over the last few years.”
“To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children,” the message read in part. “We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey. With love, Dorit and PK.”
Although Dorit and PK are now living separately, they appear to be on cordial terms. On August 23, the Beverly Hills ’Wife took to Instagram to share a birthday tribute for her estranged husband. The post included a family photo as well as a short and sweet message: “Happy birthday [PK],” she wrote. “Lots of love from me and the munchkins.”
