Porsha Shares Her Honest Thoughts on Drew and Dennis' New Album and *Those* Dating Rumors

Porsha Williams is giving credit where credit is due. 

About a month after The Real Housewives of Atlanta returned, the Georgia native took to YouTube to address the ongoing tensions in Season 16. A large chunk of her commentary focused on her ex-fiancé, Dennis McKinley, and his decision to work with her castmate, Drew Sidora. As many viewers know, Drew had enlisted Dennis to produce her newly released album, Did It to Me — a decision that led to several heated exchanges.

Although Porsha previously described the Drew and Dennis situation as “sneaky,” she wasn’t afraid to admit their record was excellent.

Porsha has a theory about the Drew and Dennis partnership drama

“When it comes to the Dennis and the Drew... by the way, go pick up her album. I think it’s great,” she said in the April 8 video. “I think she did a great job with this. And baby daddy, you did a good job, too. They did a good job. But I have to say this… I don’t believe it.”

Porsha said she was suspicious of Drew and Dennis’ true motives, as they may have manufactured some drama in an effort to generate buzz around the album.

“This is our platform, right? A lot of people use the platform to launch off whatever. And [Drew’s] launching off music,” Porsha said. “I feel like this plan of working together and doing something behind my back — working together and all that — it was supposed to be shocking to me. It was supposed to make me react like I did."

Porsha insists she's unfazed by the Drew and Dennis dating rumors

She said she didn’t understand why Drew didn’t initially reach out to discuss her partnership with Dennis and their subsequent decision to film together. Porsha insisted she was primarily upset about the latter and the lack of transparency — not the dating rumors swirling around Drew and Dennis. 

“When it comes to whether they slept together or not, that’s none of my business,” Porsha said about the rumor, which Drew has denied. “I never get into Dennis’ personal business, who he’s sleeping with. And, honestly, he don’t need to be in mine. We don’t do that… I’m talking about what would piss me off. ‘What would piss Porsha off? Oh, I know: working with someone she’s working with and not telling her.'"

The Georgia native — who also shares a 6-year-old daughter, Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley, with Dennis — said her issues came down to principles, not jealousy.

“You choose who you choose, and that’s how it works out for you guys, great,” she said about the dating whispers. “No one gets to choose who you fall in love with or whatever. In this life, if it happens, grab it… It is what it is. If that’s what they wanna do, that’s fine.”

She underscored her argument with two analogies, saying Dennis and Drew would also be bothered if the shoe was on the other foot.

“Dennis would be upset if I went and worked with his person at the hot dog factory. He would be mad,” she said. “[Drew’s] a better example. If I went and did a podcast with [Drew’s estranged husband] Ralph [Pittman] and she didn’t know about it, she would be upset about it. Not only do a podcast with him, then film with him about it on the show and, by the way, give [Ralph] an opportunity to talk about [Drew] on the show… It’s crazy.”

She continued: “They got me to react, and it worked, clearly. If anyone can touch a nerve with Porsha, it’s Dennis… This was all a setup to sell this music. “
