Although she's yet to give birth to her second child, Madison LeCroy is already thinking about baby No. 3.
The Southern Charm cast member addressed the subject during her latest Amazon Live stream, when a viewer asked if she and her husband, Brett Randle, had any plans to further expand their family.
“Right now, I would say yes,” Madison said in the June 18 broadcast. “But let’s see in three or four months what I think. But, yeah, so far. I mean, I feel like my husband deserves a boy, but I have a feeling it could be another girl.”
Madison, who has a 12-year-old son, Hudson, from a previous marriage, is expected to welcome her first child with Brett — a daughter named Teddi — in late July or early August. She teased a potential third pregnancy back in February, after publicly announcing her baby’s sex.
“I thought it was going to be a boy just because I was like, ‘There’s no way I am going to get both. It’s just not going to happen,’” she recalled in a February 27 Amazon Live stream. “Sure enough, I was wrong. I just felt like ‘You know, I am a good boy-mom,’ and I kept replaying that in my head because I knew that if I tried to convince myself it was a girl, I would be a little sad if it wasn’t.”
She continued: “Obviously, this means I am going to have to have another one because Brett wants a boy, as well. But everyone is so happy and so excited!”
While she’s clearly excited for her family addition, Madison recently admitted her pregnancy was “no longer fun” or “cute.” She touched on her experience during the June 18 stream, explaining how her second pregnancy differed from her first.
“Well, I’m 13 years older. That’s the biggest difference,” she said. “I am feeling the pregnancy a little bit more this time, but I’m super excited just because I felt like I was going to be a boy-mom forever. I never thought that I’d actually have a girl. So, we are thrilled… I’m most excited to see Hudson be a big brother and Brett be a first-time dad.”
Madison said she’s also received more help during her second pregnancy, as she was hesitant to seek assistance when she was carrying Hudson.
“Asking for help is something that I didn’t do the first time because I thought that I could do it on my own, and I was mistaken,” she said before sharing additional first-time mom tips. “Asking for help and definitely sleeping when the baby is sleeping is a must. I will not be doing laundry, and I will not be blow-drying my hair, that’s for sure. So give yourself some grace and take your own time.”
