The Las Vegas Raiders finally solved their problems under center this offseason when they made a trade for Seattle Seahawks' veteran Geno Smith. However, new general manager John Spytek may not be done adding to the team's quarterback room. On3 Sports' Ben Garrett said on a recent episode of the "Locked On Raiders Podcast" that Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart is drawing heavy interest from the Raiders.
"He said he's gonna be attending the draft, so that tells you where he thinks this thing's kind of headed," Garrett said. "And the Raiders are another top 30 visit that he's supposed to be taking as well."

Dart had an incredible senior season for the Rebels, throwing for 4,279 yards and 29 touchdowns while also adding 495 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. He was First-Team All-SEC in his final season and led his team to 27 wins in three years.
At Ole Miss, he played for Lane Kiffin, who coached the Oakland Raiders for a season and a half, starting in 2007. Before that, Kiffin was an assistant coach for Pete Carroll at the University of Southern California, so there is a deep tie between Dart and the franchise.
While Las Vegas just extended Geno Smith for two years, Dart could serve as a perfect understudy. Many feel that he needs a year or two to learn before being thrown into the fire, and the Raiders might be the perfect spot for him to do so.
