Kim Zolciak has moved on following her messy divorce from Kroy Biermann.

Appearing on the Thursday, July 31, episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum confirmed there’s someone special in her life and shared new details of how the romance came to be.

After host Cohen, 57, asked Zolciak, 47, if she was seeing anyone, she confirmed, “Yes” and shared that she had met him “through a friend.”

“Finally. He’s just great,” she gushed. “You know, I sat in the house and worked and tried to take care of everything for 20 months and then I finally met someone great.”

The reality TV personality and former professional athlete share son Kroy “KJ” Jr, who was born in 2011, son Kash, who they welcomed in 2012 and twins Kaia and Kane, both born in 2013. (Biermann also adopted Zolciak two daughters from previous relationships: Brielle and Ariana.)

Speaking exclusively to Us Weekly in April 2025, Ariana, 23, spoke about her parents’ “long divorce.”

“I think it gets hard sometimes. It’s been a really long divorce,” Ariana told Us at the time. “[It’s been] two and a half f***ing years, and it’s still not even almost done.”

Ariana also touched on her mother re-entering the dating scene.

“She’s exploring her options, and she should,” the Next Gen NYC star said. “She’s out there and she deserves it. I’m like, ‘Don’t get anything serious yet.’ I also tell her we’re in a totally different world than we once were [and] these people are f***ing crazy.”

Despite the ongoing divorce drama, Zolciak was once adamant that she would never let reality TV affect her marriage.

“[Divorce is] not an option in my house,” she told Fox News in October 2017. “I would never allow a show to impact my marriage in any way. My marriage is definitely first.”
