Amid talk of “Southern Charm” star Craig Conover’s recent breakup with Natalie Buffett, a source told Us Weekly on June 10 that the two were never partnered up.
According to the insider, Conover and Buffett’s relationship hit a standstill because of the model’s frequent traveling.
Although the former lovebirds enjoyed each other’s company, the source said that Conover wants a serious partner.
“He really likes Natalie. Craig tends to go all in on his relationships and likes being monogamous,” the unnamed person revealed, adding, “Natalie is the type that can’t be tied down right now.”
As for the Sewing Down South owner’s stance on dating, the source told Us Weekly, “Craig has been putting himself back out there since his split from Paige. He feels more confident now and excited to date again. He would be in a relationship right now if it was the best fit.”
Conover First Hinted About His Relationship with Buffett in March
After his breakup from Paige De Sorbo in 2024, Conover revealed on a March episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that he was dating someone new.
“I am, and I’m really happy,” he told host Andy Cohen. Confirming that his new flame wasn’t fellow “Southern Charm” star Salley Carson, Conover said that he was currently exclusive.
“When I date, I tend to date only one person at a time. So I’ve been seeing someone,” he said. “I’ve been reminded that the universe works in crazy ways where everything happens for a reason.”
Conover Wants to Be a Father Someday
Conover has made no secret about wanting to get married and have a family, and now he’s finding other ways to fulfill his happiness, other than his Sewing Down South business.
“I accomplished what I — I did it. I did what I wanted to do. I do, one day, would love to have a family and stuff. So, now it’s like, ‘OK, how do you make the most out of your time now?'” he said on May 27 episode of the “2 Fake SEALS” podcast.
The “Southern Charm” star revealed that his philanthropic efforts brings him joy and he’s used his profits from his pillow business to donate to good causes.
“Take the business side out of it. It’ll make you feel like a better person. If you’re looking for purpose, go volunteer somewhere,” he said.
During the “Southern Charm” after show in February, per Bravo, Conover told Madison LeCroy, “Maybe I’ll adopt a little baby.”
He had a brief moment when he thought about getting a dog, but then said on the show, “The puppy thing popped in my head and I said, ‘Don’t do it Craig.’ But then I was like, ‘You need purpose.'”
