Reports: Minnesota Wild make 2-for-1 trade with Boston Bruins

   

On the eve of the NHL trade deadline, the Minnesota Wild made a deal with the Boston Bruins.

According to reports, Minnesota is sending forward Marat Khustnidinov and center Jakub Lauko to Boston in exchange for 27-year-old forward Justin Brazeau. 

Brazaeu has 10 goals and 10 assists while averaging just under 13 minutes of ice time in 58 games this season.  

Khustnidinov, 22, was Minnesota's second-round draft pick in 2020 and has produced two goals and five assists in 57 games this season. Lauko, 24, has six points (three goals, three assists) in 38 games. 

Lauko was selected by Boston in the third round of the 2018 draft.
