Fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta have mixed opinions of Kim Zolciak. Many recall her less-than-stellar behavior when she returned as an official cast member for season 10, and it has left a bad taste in their mouths. Still, some viewers have sympathy for the troubled reality star. Now, she has a bit of good news as the home she shared with Kroy Biermann has finally sold.
Kim and Kroy first listed their Atlanta mansion for $6 million in 2023. The pair had to lower the price multiple times, and it almost went to auction. Additionally, they were able to skirt around foreclosure multiple times as they had fallen behind on their mortgage. The estranged couple moved out of the home in November of last year.
Recently, the real estate website Zillow updated the listing for Kim and Kroy’s home to say that it has been sold. According to the site, it sold for $2,757,000. This is lower than their initial asking price, but it seems they turned a profit from the sale, as TMZ is reporting that they bought the home for only $900K in 2012. Apparently, the house was actually sold last month.
Regarding the home, it has 6,907 square feet and five bedrooms. There are seven bathrooms, and the report says that it was built in 2008. It sits on a 1.78-acre lot.
As TMZ has previously reported, since moving out in November, Kim and Kroy have secured separate rental properties fairly close to their former home. This came after the police had to be called as they were in the process of moving out, as Kroy had blocked a U-Haul in the driveway.
Kim and Kroy are still facing massive debts, and their ongoing divorce is yet to be finalized. They have four kids together, and Kroy is also a father figure for Kim’s two daughters from a previous marriage.
