Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley announced their separation after nine years of marriage on Thursday.
“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage,” the former couple wrote on Instagram stories. “We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together.
“To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and re-evaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children,” they continued. “We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey.”

The news follows a RHOBH season that centered around Dorit’s co-star Kyle Richards’ separation from her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky. The three-part reunion saw Richards in the hot seat, as host Andy Cohen and her co-stars pressed her on more details around the source of her split from the real estate agent and star of Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills. Richards, who defended herself against accusations that she hadn’t opened up enough on the show, specifically called out Kemsley for her lack of support behind the scenes. On camera, the friends, however, spoke in more than one scene about struggles in each of their marriages.
Also on Thursday, Bravo announced a renewal for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, along with new seasons set in Atlanta, Miami, New York City, Orange County, Potomac and Salt Lake City to premiere in the 2024-25 season. Dates have yet to be announced. The official cast for Beverly Hills also has yet to be announced.
Dorit and PK first wed in 2015 and share two children, daughter Phoenix and son Jagger.
