‘RHOBH Wasn’t Real Life’ — Garcelle Beauvais Says She Finally Found What Truly Matters After Walking Away

Garcelle Beauvais is unwinding from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 by spending time with her sons.

The actress, who confirmed her exit from the series on Instagram on March 25, spent Easter with her eldest son, Oliver Saunders; one of her twins, Jaid Nilon; and her granddaughter, Valley Marie Saunders. 

"Happy Easter from us to you!" she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post shared on April 20 of her family gathering, which also featured Oliver's girlfriend, Shantei Paranada. "We are missing Jax who is in Hawaii for a volleyball tournament and [grandson] Oliver Junior."

The former diamond holder posted a few other highlights from her weekend as well. She got in some much-needed snuggle time with her granddaughter, who was born in January 2025.

"This is what it’s about," she shared alongside a video of her chatting with Valley. 

She also brought Jaid to get his ears pierced. "I caved in!!" she wrote in an Instagram post from the same weekend. 

Garcelle's restful Easter weekend comes shortly after she spent some time with her youngest sons at her second home in Malibu.

On March 30, Garcelle shared photos from her weekend getaway with her boys in the popular beach area.

"Sunday filled with Gratitude," she captioned the pictures. She also wrote the word "Peace" in the sand by the shoreline.

As Part 3 of the RHOBH Season 14 reunion was airing on April 15, Garcelle posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram feed.

"YOU CHANGED. No. I healed. I learned. I grew. I set boundaries. I stopped settling. I put myself first," the message read.

She also reportedly unfollowed her RHOBH castmates, except for friends Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly.

Her longtime bestie, Sutton Stracke, reacted to the social media move in an exclusive statement to Page Six. 

"I can only imagine that she needs a clean break right now," she told the outlet. "I love her and am giving her the space she needs."

The Sutton Concept owner added, "I know that she is going to move through this next chapter with grace and success."

"[Jax and Jaid's] last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that," she said in her Instagram statement, noting that Jaid is also doing more modeling. "And Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that too."

She added, "Secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing, and acting in. I can't tell you anything right now, but you'll know soon."  

Her decision comes on the heels of a difficult reunion. In the final moments of Part 3, Garcelle walked away from the set and decided not to take the cast photo.
