Garcelle Beauvais is taking fans inside her renovated beach house in Oxnard, California.
After purchasing the home a few years ago, the 58-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star embarked on a renovation project. And now, she’s showcasing the cozy abode, which boasts light colors, fancy fixtures, and even a rooftop deck that Garcelle described as “party central.”
“This has been my baby for the past three years, and finally it’s here. This is where I want my kids to hang out, my grandson, friends, my kids’ friends,” Garcelle began in a video shared by Bravo’s The Daily Dish on December 24.
The exterior of Garcelle’s home features a sitting area, a swing, and space for her golf cart.
Inside of the home are white walls and lightly-stained wood floors.
A large light hangs above a table inside the front door.
As she showed off her beachy decor, Garcelle revealed a gift from her RHOBH co-star, Kyle Richards, 55.
“Kyle Richards got me this right here, which I love, and I love that it’s white,” Garcelle shared.
Kyle gifted Garcelle a piece of painted coral.
As she hoped to attain “easy living,” Garcelle included an L-shaped couch topped with pillows in her design.
One of Garcelle’s pillows reads, “this beautiful mess.”
Moving on to the kitchen, Garcelle showed off her turquoise cabinets, which were topped by a white countertop and simple, glossy backsplash.
“I wanted everything fresh and beachy, which is why I did my cabinets this color. I wanted it to be easy and open,” she revealed.
Appliances in Garcelle’s kitchen include a wine fridge and automatic microwave which makes her feel like a “techy mom.”
According to Garcelle, she took inspiration from her front door when selecting her oven hood.
“I’m obsessed with my hood. I wanted it to match my front door,” she explained.
Another favorite feature of Garcelle’s is her cherry blossom tree.
“I got my cherry blossom tree, which I had to get from the plant guy in Miami. I had to have it,” she shared.
A corner window lets in plenty of natural light.
Also outside of Garcelle’s kitchen is a “very kid-friendly” pantry with “lots of snacks.”
In the powder room on the first level is some stunning bamboo wallpaper, which Garcelle said came from Amazon.
“Here we have my powder room. This wallpaper I’ve had for three years in storage because I loved it so much and I knew I wanted to use it. And got it from Amazon. Easy,” she dished.
After heading upstairs, Garcelle revealed her master suite.
“I love this room,” she gushed. “I wanted to do the shiplap … for the walls … Love this bed. This lamp right here is designed by Lenny Kravitz. So I like to say, ‘I go to bed every night with Lenny Kravitz!’ Don’t tell him.”
Garcelle’s Lenny Kravitz light is situated on her nightstand and features a black base and wicker shade.
Also in Garcelle’s bedroom is a two-sided fireplace, which can also be seen from her master bathroom.
“This is my zen space and look, the fireplace is double-sided. One of the things that I love is this big, huge shower, and I can sit in the bathroom or the shower and still see the fireplace,” she shared.
Round mirrors and a unique light fixture hang above white cabinetry in the bathroom.
A second bathroom can also be found upstairs.
“Bathroom, again, everything is black and white. I just love it. I think it’s chic,” Garcelle noted.
The tiling in the shower boasts two different kinds of tile.
Outside of the bathroom is what Garcelle refers to as the “bunk room.”
“This is a room that the boys love because I have triple queen, yes I said queen, triple queen bunk beds,” she revealed.
Garcelle’s bunk room offers plenty of space for sleepovers.
Just off the master suite is access to the second-level deck, where Garcelle enjoys coffee in the morning and wine at night.
“But let me take you to the rooftop deck. That’s the party central,” she explained. “I really wanted it to be spacious and fun. I wanted a hot tub. Here we have a little kitchen area with drinks, refreshments…”
The rooftop deck is perfect for entertaining with tons of seating.
