There has been quite a bit of talk about the August 29 episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Many people have remarked on Teddi Mellencamp making fun of Vicki Gunvalson, and others saw the appearance as Tamra Judge‘s way of trying to get her friend some screen time.
However, others are a bit more cynical and are saying the moment where Teddi “randomly” pushed her Two Ts In A Pod co-host into the pool was staged.
As fans will recall, the RHOC ladies played their version of the Traitors TV show, and Teddi served as the host. As mentioned, the episode also saw the host pushing Tamra into the pool as the ladies were all walking by it. Tamra seemed fine with it, though she was surprised. Some of the ladies, Heather Dubrow in particular, seemed concerned and checked to see if Tamra was okay.
Now, several fans online are saying they believe the push was staged, and they have their version of proof. The biggest reason people believe this is because Tamra’s mic, which all the ladies are wearing, is noticeably missing when she gets pushed into the pool. For example, one X user posted, “Why was #Tamra mic off? Oh that’s right this was planned.”
Someone else criticized Teddi’s appearance on the show by saying, “I’m sick of Bravo/Hayu never giving us a Teddi Mellencamp trigger warning. She’s so ANNOYING.”
This led someone to reply to the post and say, “It was the fake planned push into the pool for me. I literally cannot stand Tamra and Teddi they irk me so much.”
Another user noticed that Tamra was wearing a nose plug.
There’s also a reply to the above post that says, “I was thinking the same – if you look at the shot they are walking directly to the pool. As much as Tamra is annoying me she was a good sport about this part. Still loathe Teddi though.”
Despite the push being potentially staged, it seems most people don’t mind. Fans can watch RHOC on Thursday nights.
