Shannon Beador’s family just grew. On May 20, the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star announced, “Archie has a brother!!! Meet the newest member of our family!!!”
“He is just the sweetest dog! We have been trying to figure out the perfect name for him and would love any suggestions!!! All of the girls have their favorite but can’t agree on one!” Beador wrote.
A fan suggested, “Archie and Jughead… just saying!!!”
Another wrote, “George … for George Jefferson … he was neighbors with Archie Bunker until he ‘moved on up to the East Side.'”
Fans of Beador are familiar with her beloved pooch Archie, whom she adopted in 2016 after a fan asked if anyone can find him a home.
“A viewer tweeted a picture of Archie and said, ‘Do you know anyone that’s looking for a dog?'” Beador recalled.
She continued, “When I saw the photo of Archie, it was when he was a little puppy … a couple months later, Archie came to our house.”
Beador Has a Special Bond With Archie
It’s no secret Beador loves Archie, as she frequently shares photos of him on social media. On February 1, she snapped a selfie with her Golden Retriever and wrote on Instagram, “Saturday with my man…”
“The most loyal of them all,” a fan replied. Another wrote, “Cutest man there is.”
One declared, “Archie is all we need!!!”
Archie made a cameo in Beador’s November 2024 Thanksgiving picture of her posing with her two daughters and father.
“Happy Thanksgiving from the Storms/Beador family! Beyond grateful for my family and cannot wait to have Stella home for Christmas!” she wrote.
“The Queen and her court. Love me some Archie,” a fan replied. Another shared, “Great foto! Archie looks so sweet. Posing!”
Archie Overcame Some Health Issues
Beador shared in a now-deleted Instagram post in April 2022 that Archie wasn’t doing well, health-wise, per People.
“We are taking Archie to our vet and a specialist to get him better, but it is difficult. We are told his immune system is shot,” Beador posted.
She revealed that her canine pal was on various antibiotics for skin infections but they weren’t working. “Right now we are combining western and holistic medicine in hopes that something will work. Today, he scratched his front leg raw with a cone on his head and a sock on his back foot; it happened in just minutes,” Beador wrote.
Thankfully, Archie’s symptoms improved, and two months later, Beador posted, per Bravo, “Archie is feeling so much better, so he had a play date with his friends.”
