RHOC’s Tamra Judge Reacts to Sabrina Carpenter Album Cover Chaos

Tamra Judge Weighs In on Sabrina Carpenter Album Cover Controversy | Us Weekly

The internet may be full of folks fussing over Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album cover, but one person unaffected is Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge. In fact, she feels it’s all much ado about nothing.

Sabrina surprised her fans when she announced her new studio album Man’s Best Friend with an August release date. She shared the racy cover art which quickly became viral. Some lauded the singer’s latest bold move while others chastised her for setting women’s rights back decades.

Tamra Judge wants to know: “What’s all the fuss?”

The artwork in question depicts Sabrina on all fours as a man loosely pulls her hair. Another image from the album, likely from the back of the album shows a closeup of a dog wearing a collar that reads, “Man’s Best Friend.”

RHOC's Tamra Judge Weighs In on Sabrina Carpenter Album Cover Controversy: 'What's All the Fuss?'

This isn’t the first time the singer has done something controversial. The Short n’ Sweet Grammy winning star has been known to wear sexy clothing and do suggestive dances at her shows. She also recently appeared on Rolling Stone magazine in just stockings. It’s pretty on brand for Sabrina, which is why the album shouldn’t really come as such a shock.

And it wasn’t a shock to Tamra. The RHOC star reposted a tweet with the album cover and captioned it, “What’s all the fuss about? Looks like me in the 80s!”

Tamra is listening and not judging. She has never been one to censor her reactions and this time it’s obvious she thinks people are freaking out over nothing. Personally, I’d love to see Tamra’s photos from the 80s that remind her of this album cover.

Not everyone is as chill as Tamra though. Women’s rights groups have been saying that the risqué album art trivializes women and is regressive for women’s rights. Others say Sabrina has sexualized herself too much.

One fan even asked if the singer had a personality outside of her sexualized persona. The singer replied with some shade by saying that she absolutely did and that it was “goooooood!”

The Real Housewives of Orange County premieres Thursday, July 10 at 9 p.m. on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
