Janet Caperna got a lot of pushback for her decision to label Danny Booko as a perpetrator of sexual assault. Not just from her co-stars on The Valley. And not just from the show’s viewers. But Real Housewives of Orange County veteran star Tamra Judge is also criticizing her behavior. When Tamra’s questioning your behavior while filming, you’ve got to know that you’ve mis-stepped.
Indeed, the public backlash was so bad that Janet allegedly fled the country with her lawyer-husband Jason Caperna. They high-tailed it to Switzerland, which feels very apt. However, The Valley villain made sure to deny it was anything other than a planned vacation.
RHOC’s Tamra says The Valley’s Janet hits “way below the belt”
Tamra appeared on Radio Andy’s The John Hill Show to share her thoughts on Janet’s behavior during Season 2 of the hit Vanderpump Rules spinoff
“I think what Janet [Caperna] did last episode was way below the belt. Way,” the RHOC star shared. “I don’t even know if there’s even coming back from that.”
“Well, she fled the country to avoid the hate,” John pointed out.
The Vena CBD co-founder continued, “Yeah, I mean, the hate is bad. I don’t want to see anybody get that kind of hate. But I was really pushing for Janet because I’m talking to her a little bit on social media … She wants to come on [‘Two Ts In A Pod’].”
Referring to the podcast she cohosts with Teddi Mellencamp, Tamra further discussed the issue. The duo concluded that only Jasmine Goode would have had the authority to make such a statement against Danny.“It didn’t happen to her. It happened to somebody else, and they talked it out and apologized,” Tamra said. “I came from the era [where] if you weren’t getting your ass grabbed, you didn’t look good enough, you know what I mean? That’s how I grew up, so it’s hard. It’s different now. I get it. If it happens now, I just punch them in the face … I’m just really sad because nobody grabs my butt anymore.”
Jasmine and Danny did talk it out. And the actor profusely apologized, and the friends were able to move on.
