RHONJ’s Luis Ruelas Takes Out $1 Million Loan on Mansion

Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey promised fans a different type of drama. No longer would Teresa Giudice be feuding with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga. Their relationship was trashed just like Melissa’s sprinkle cookies. And Teresa married her prince, Luis Ruelas, and the duo vowed to stay in their love bubble. But are financial issues causing tension between the couple?

Teresa and Luis’ marital and financial woes were front and center in the Season 14 trailer. In the preview, Margaret Josephs can be heard on the phone saying that Luis “pissed her money away.” Plus, Teresa still owes approximately $615,720.94 in taxes and liens as of October 2023. And that is after she paid off $480,291.20 of the debt.

Meanwhile, Luis’ company, Digital Media Solutions was sued in May 2023 for supposed harassment. Juanita Williams filed a class-action lawsuit stating that she was receiving telemarketing calls from both Digital Media Solutions and Choice Health Insurance.

But Luis has found a way to make it rain. According to court papers obtained by The U.S. Sun, Luis took out a one million dollar loan on the duo’s Montville home in March 2024. He is listed as the “sole member” of the LLC that purchased the home. In January 2021, the couple bought the residence, which boasts seven bedrooms and a paltry 10 bathrooms, for $3,350,000. They did not take out a loan on the property at that time. The amount of time that Luis has to pay off the mortgage is unknown.

As far as employment, Luis helped launch a live-streaming app called Vinivia. Some people have referred to the business as “his company.” However, The U.S. Sun reported that Luis is providing services to the company and is an independent contractor.
