Mia Thornton reunited with her ex-boyfriend, Incognito, earlier this week for a podcast, prompting rumors of a potential reconciliation between them.
After Gizelle Bryant, 54, and other members of the Real Housewives of Potomac cast suspected that the couple never truly split, Mia, 40, announced that she and Inc would be appearing on a podcast together as her fans and followers confirmed they were “tired.”
“Big news, y’all! I’m hitting the airwaves, this Friday with my bestie, INC … I’M SYNDICATED, BABY!” Mia announced on March 12. “Hey Houston, Dallas, Baltimore, Atlanta – get ready, we’re coming in HOT! Let’s gooo!”
Around the same time, on her Instagram Story, Mia shared a loved-up clip of herself and Inc with 50 Cent‘s “Best Friend,” which includes the lyrics, “Could I be your best friend if you promise you’ll be mine?”
In the comments section of Mia’s post about the podcast, Inc offered a reaction.
“How ya luv dat[?]” he asked.
And Mia’s reply was quite telling in terms of their status.
“YOU, My King,” she wrote.
Along with Mia and Inc’s interaction, a number of fans shared their thoughts in the comments section.
“Gizelle will tell a joke but will NEVER tell a lie!” someone declared.
“So Inc is around… the girls were right…” a second agreed.
Meanwhile, a third asked, “Girl why you proving Gizelle right?”
Other Instagram users complained they were “tired” of the back and forth.
“MIA… we Tired!!” one proclaimed.
“Go away from me with this Apollo,” shared another, seemingly giving a nod to Apollo Nida, 46, the former husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, 51, who recently turned up on Married to Medicine with his now-estranged wife, Sherien Copes.
“Ok so Mia let’s go back to opening joint chiropractic clinics and get out of the public eye. You making us all tired,” someone else advised, describing Mia as “exhausting” in a hashtag.
While appearing on a January episode of Watch What Happens Live, Mia shared the reason behind her and Inc’s split.
“Inc has worked really, really hard for his reputation and his career. He’s 20 years in as a syndicated radio personality, and he feels as though this platform … It doesn’t align with his brand [and] I respect that,” she explained. “Now, he’s my best friend and he will forever be my best friend … Are we dating? No. It has bridged a gap between us two and that’s fine.”
“To his defense,” Mia added, “I need to get a divorce first. So we’re gonna work on that. We’re gonna focus on G, we’re gonna focus on the kids, and then Inc, he’s not going anywhere. What’s meant to be is forever.”
Mia is currently in the midst of an ongoing divorce from estranged husband Gordon Thornton, 72, with whom she shares her two youngest children, Jeremiah and Juliana.
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast is expected to go into production on season 10 at the end of this month.
