Bravo fans are reasonably familiar with Sami Sheen thanks to her being the daughter of Denise Richards and starring in their family’s reality show on the network. Now, Sami is calling out her younger sister, Lola Sheen, over some harmful posts she made on social media.
Sadly, it appears the sisterly bond between Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, has been strained for some time. Notably, Sami called out Lola recently for allegedly failing to get Denise a gift for Mother’s Day.
Sami took to her TikTok account on June 18 to lambast Lola for the posts. The Denise Richards & Her Wild Things star said, “My mom did an amazing job raising me and my sister to be very accepting of everyone’s sexuality and gender identity and everything else under the sun.”
Sami continued, “So that’s why it is so sad for me to see that my own sister is homophobic and transphobic now.” She went on to say that while she didn’t plan to bring the drama to the internet, her sister’s posts are “public for everyone to see.” Sami also said she is “disgust[ed]” by the posts and stated that her sister had “conformed to her religion.”
She also said that she understands people can have varying beliefs, but that this doesn’t mean they need to be “transphobic or homophobic.” She continued, “Someone’s sexuality and someone’s gender identity should not affect you.” Sami also confirmed that she is a part of the LGBTQ+ community and that she wishes her sister “was a f–king ally.”
Sami continued, “It’s just honestly disgusting, close-minded behavior, and I really hope she snaps out of this eventually. Just for five minutes, put the Bible down … and pick up the Pride flag and support the f–king community, because I don’t know if you’ve realized, it is Pride Month, and you reposting those things during Pride Month is just otherworldly. I don’t know who you are anymore. This is not you. … Do better, seriously.”
Sami added that the video Lola shared came from a man named Bryce Crawford. She also showed a screenshot of one of the videos.
Regarding Lola’s religion, she decided to get baptized in January.
