Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley pulled off a move on Sunday that has never been seen before and will probably never be seen again.
Barkley caught a pass from Jalen Hurts on 3rd-and-6 early in second quarter of the Eagles’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. After making one would-be tackler miss, Barkley spun away from another defender and then hurdled a third.
This wasn’t just any hurdle, however. Barkley was facing the complete opposite direction when he jumped over the defender:
You can see another angle:
Barkley has been running with a purpose in his first season in Philly. He entered Sunday’s game with 766 yards on 130 carries and 6 total touchdowns. There will be plenty more highlights from the star running back this year, but we can almost guarantee none will be as impressive as his hurdle on Sunday.
