Scheana Shay celebrated her 40th birthday with an over-the-top bash.
On May 7, the former “Vanderpump Rules” star wore a dazzling red dress for a party for her milestone birthday held in Los Angeles, per Page Six.
Shay, whose signature song is titled “Good as Gold,” celebrated with friends from the Bravoverse as she said goodbye to her thirties.
Scheana Shay’s Party Theme Was ‘Death to Scheana’s Thirties’
Photos posted to Instagram gave fans a look at Shay’s party theme, which was “Death to Scheana’s Thirties.” The outdoor celebration featured a full bar and a blood-red cake for the birthday girl. Magician Jonathan Molo was on hand for entertainment.
As seen in photos posted by Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea, guests at the party included fellow former “Vanderpump Rules” cast members Lala Kent, Ally Lewber, and, of course, Shay’s husband, Brock Davies.
In addition, “The Valley” stars Brittany Cartwright, Jasomen Goode, Michelle Saniei, and Janet Caperna were also in attendance.
On the May 6 edition of “Watch What Happens Live,” “The Valley” star Zack Wickham noted that he wasn’t part of the guest list for Shay’s party. “We have our ups and downs, and right now we’re just like in a [valley],” he told host Andy Cohen of his on-and-off friendship with Shay.
Scheana Shay Celebrated Her 30th Birthday With Her VPR Co-Stars
A decade ago, Shay celebrated her 30th birthday with all of her “Vanderpump Rules” co-stars.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the group, which included co-stars Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and Jax Taylor, as well as her then-husband, Mike Shay, celebrated in Las Vegas at the Palms.
In addition to a birthday dinner for Shay at N9NE Steakhouse, the group went to Ghostbar at the Vegas resort. Shay was feted by go-go dancers, and there was also a tiered pink and green frosted cake.
Unlike the guest list for her 40th, Shay invited everyone from her cast to her 30th birthday. In an interview with BravoTV.com at the time, she explained why Kristen Doute made the list for a retro-themed celebration, despite Doute’s issues with her ex, Sandoval, and his then-girlfriend Madix.
“There were 100 other people there,” Shay said. “Our friend group is up and down and very love/hate at times, but at the end of the day, there’s more love there! Everyone needs to act like the adults we are and kindly look the other way if someone is there who they don’t like.”
