Scheana Shay is shedding new light on her husband, Brock Davies' role as a dad to his three kids. The Vanderpump Rules alums have a 4-year-old daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, together. But Brock also has two children who currently live in Australia, a boy and a girl, from his first marriage.
Scheana offered a look at Brock's life as a dad in an Instagram post, shared on Father's Day slash his 35th birthday (which fell on the same day this year), and offered some new insight into where things stand with his kids in Australia. "You are the most incredible partner and father and we are so lucky to have you!" Scheana wrote in the caption of the post. "[Summer Moon] is such a special little girl which is half due to you! I'd like to take all the credit but I can't."
She continued, "You inspire us daily, you're the hardest worker I know, and I hope that one day we will be a huge blended family with your other two kids. I love you so much honey!"
Brock Davies shares an update on his children in Australia
Brock recently offered an update on his two kids, who live with their mother and stepfather, during a recent episode of The Valley After Show Season 2. Although he would love to have his older children meet Summer Moon, he admitted that this is something that will take time.
"As much as I would love that, it's a consequence of my actions, and the kids are in a great family environment," he admitted. "So, for me to expect that, or want that, it's one thing. And it's up to them when they're ready. So, I just have to put myself in that position."
Brock Davies says repairing his relationship with his children in Australia will "take time"
In a January 2024 episode of Scheana's podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, Brock revealed that he and Scheana had taken a trip to Australia with Summer Moon for the holidays. But, they were unable to see his kids during the trip.
"I wish I could tell everybody, like, 'Yeah, we're going, we're meeting up, we're doing this,' but it's gonna take time," he recalled at the time. "We're dealing with kids...There's a whole bunch of things changing in their life and I don't want to be another one in there. I think they have a loving dad, a loving half-sister, and a beautiful family. So, you know, right now that's not their priority and I understand that."
Do Brock Davies and Scheana Shay want more kids?
Yes, Brock said he would "be more than happy to expand this family" during The Valley After Show Season 2.
"Not just for my selfish reasons," he added. "I want Summer to have a sibling going through life with, you know?"
Scheana, however, noted that expanding their family is something that won't happen instantly. "For me, I have to go the surrogacy route, and that just adds so many layers to it," she said during the After Show. "I'm not there mentally, but we'll make some embryos and then decide. We'll see. TBD."
